When Acts starts and the church is building, things seem to be pretty easy. However, in the last couple of chapters, we have seen opposition from outside and corruption within. In the rest of chapter 5, persecution intensifies. The apostles face threats, imprisonment, and even physical suffering, yet they discover that what God is doing cannot be stopped.
